Blair Crosbie - General Manager
Blair Crosbie has been with The Vetservice Group as General Manager for five years. Previously Blair was involved with veterinary wholesaling for 18 years as a branch manager and then later as national project manager. Blair has developed products for export markets as well as several software programs for both wholesaling and practice use. He joined the group after a short sabbatical from wholesaling where he developed Vetworks, a specialist companion animal distributor. Blair spends his spare time in the hills mountain biking and adds some road riding for good measure.
Ginny Lovrich - Marketing Manager
Ginny joined The Vetservice Group in June 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Agricultural commerce degree and a MBA bringing also a wealth of experience from various sales and marketing roles throughout New Zealand including Mathias Meats, DB Breweries, Ansett New Zealand, nzski.com and Arthur Ellis Ltd. Her role involves managing the team of Business Development Managers, looking after the Paws for thought magazine and working on various projects as part of the management team.
Ginny lives on a small lifestyle block with her husband and two boys in Christchurch. She enjoys sailing, skiing and the outdoors.
Jack Mainprize - Product Manager
Jack’s background originated in wholesaling prior to joining Vetservice as a Business Development Manager in 2003. Skillset available to assist our member clinics include Veterinary Software platform management and Database rationalisation; Best Practice documentation, training and implementation; Wellness model training, development and implementation. Jack is also our certified diagnostics technician, having been trained in our manufacturer’s Japanese and US offices.
Matthew Terrill - IT Manager
Matt joined The Vetservice Group in 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Web Based Information Systems from Massey University and is the IT Manager for the The Vetservice Group. This role involves managing The Vetservice Groups practice management software (VIA) and providing/managing IT requirements from websites to computer support. Matt enjoys movies, music, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Karen Williamson - PA to Executive
Karen has a degree in Biochemistry and has worked in veterinary administration for the past eight years, and has been with The Vetservice Group since June 2004. Karen enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is especially enjoying her time at The Vetservice Group where the work environment is friendly, harmonious and productive. Karen currently holds the position of Administration Manager
Karen juggles fulltime work with residential property speculating and the raising of two beautiful daughters, Renee and Amelia with her husband Phillip.
Louann McDowell - Sales Support
Louann joined the Vetservice team in November 2006 and is currently our Sales Support person. This involves assisting the Business Development Managers to effectively and efficiently do their jobs. Louann comes from a rural background recently moving to Palmerston North from Raetihi. She lives here with her two teenage sons, while her husband manages the farm back home. Louann likes gardening and craftwork.
Helen Gifford - Accounts Administrator
Helen started in her role for the Vetservice Group in October 2006. Her role in the company is the Finance Administrator. When she is not busy making the books balance Helen enjoys sport, gardening and catching up with family and friends.
